Mozy by Dell is a cloud data protection service that automatically backs up your files for Windows and Mac platforms.
Mozy Sync:
A data synchronization tool that allows to you synchronize your files and folders using Mozy servers.
You can synchronize your files and folders across multiple machines running either OSX and Windows.
You can also retrieve files from your sync through a web browser or the Mozy Mobile app.
Mozy Backup:
The Mozy backup software is intended for disaster recovery purposes whereas sync is intended for storage and synchronization; it simplifies the option to access your files.
It works from a single location on the local drive that can be synchronized with any other linked machines.
Any modifications made to files in your sync folder will also apply to synced sync files from other linked machines.
