Tired of managing device drivers? Let Dell manage your drivers. That's only a portion of what Image Assist can do.
What if, when your new Dell computers arrived on-site, they were already customized for your company? As each one is powered on for the 1st time, they are already configured with your OS, your apps, your customization, your network / domain settings, etc - and... the latest device drivers are installed?
For the last decade, Dell Inc. has been at the forefront in Operating SystemImaging and Deployment solutions for our Business Client Systems. Our previous multi-platform OS Imaging solutions, X-Image & ImageDirect have successfully served the industry for many years by providing our customers solutions which help in creating a re-deployable OS Image that works across all of our Business Client Systems. During this time, we’ve helped tens of thousands of customers simplify their custom imaging and deployment needs. We took the years of knowledge, the lessons learned, your feedback and have created the next generation of client imaging technology. A cost free tool that will help you quickly create a re-deployable Windows image to be sent to Dell and loaded onto your computers in our factory before they ship to your offices; it’s called Dell Image Assist.
What Can It Do?
- Windows 7 & 8.1 (Legacy MBR & UEFI/GPT)
- Guided Unattend and Sysprep Configuration
- Image Capture & Restore
- Multi-Platform Break-Fix Deployment
- Factory Dynamic Driver Injection & Dynamic Patch Management
How Does It Work?
1. Build & Test your image - Install Windows, your apps, configure your system settings, add files, etc.
NOTICE: Dell OEM Customers. If you are building an image from a system you received that has the operating system installed from the Dell factory, you must format your hard drive and re-install using the OEM restore media provided by Dell.
