Description
On adding group members, policy verifies that those members falls under the defined restrictions and rejects modification if one or more restrictions are violated.
- Scope restrictions for members
- Allow only objects from these containers or Managed Units to be members of the target group.
- Object type restrictions for members
- Allow only objects of selected types to be members of the target group.
- Members count restrictions
- When set to any positive integer value, allow only defined number of objects be in group membership.
lnstallation instructions
- Be sure that ActiveRoles Add-on Manager is installed
- Unzip the archive
- Double click *.arsaddon file
- Or in Add-on Manager select "Install add-on from file" option and select *.arsaddon file
- Create new Provisioning/Deprovisioning policy object, or select an existing one, and add a new policy
- On the policy type selection page select Group Membership Restrictions policy type
How to start using add-on depends on the content of this add-on.
- Some add-ons adds a node under the Application page with instructions
- Some add-ons adds policy types and you can start using it by adding a new policy to a policy object or new activity to a workflow
- Some add-ons are supplied with written instructions in a some document
- Or, finally you can review add-on and inspect what configuration objects where deployed to ARS
